USA – Day 2
Day 2 – 17/07/09
After staying up last night and only getting to bed at 1.30pm after 34 hours awake, surprisingly I woke up at 6.30am feeling quite good. Maybe I will have to re-consider my theory that ‘may as well drink up on long haul flights as I will feel like crap anyway’ because I only had 2 drinks and feel surprisingly good.
Today is a rest day just the same. I did pass out just after lunch for about 3 hours so I guess I needed some sleep but I think doing pretty good.
I tried to get tickets to a Yankee’s game for next week for when I am with Nick and Leah. The cheapest tickets I have found so far are $125 each, and they are not exactly what I would call great tickets. Why are they so dear, last week I had 2nd row tickets to State of Origin for less then $100. I don’t know if I can compare a State of Origin game to a regular baseball game. Will keep searching I guess.
